I’ve been with unumondo for just under 2 months and in this short time several people have commented on how much better my German has gotten. My local (Andrea) and I have many common interests, so our time together goes quickly.

What I love most, is that I can spend the entire lesson talking about topics that interest me. I do most of the talking and she provides input and guidance as needed. My goal is to get better at High German, so Andrea has helped me notice my tendency to mix Swiss German and German expressions, as well as increase my overall vocabulary. I was recently working on a project and needed to go to Zurich’s StadtArchiv. Andrea joined me and helped clarify some critical questions I had. Thanks to her, I could save time and money (on a work project) while learning more about Zurich and German.
